Divine Encounters - Part I: Becoming Bearers of God's Truth

In this first part of our series on Divine Encounters, we explore how God orchestrates encounters in our lives with divine purpose, leading us to be bearers of His truth. Each encounter is an opportunity to reflect His love and message, and the Bible is full of examples where God used ordinary people to impact others. From Abraham's hospitality to the three visitors that foretold God's promise (Genesis 18:1-15), to Philip guiding the Ethiopian eunuch to salvation (Acts 8:26-40), these moments are not coincidental but divinely appointed. Even in Ruth’s story, God’s providence was at work, guiding her to a deeper relationship with Him through Naomi (Ruth 1-4).

These examples remind us that God uses our daily interactions for His kingdom purposes. By recognizing and responding to divine encounters, we can be agents of transformation in the lives of those around us. The key to living this out is cultivating awareness, discerning God's voice, embracing His timing, and stepping out in faith when He leads. We are encouraged to trust in His sovereignty and serve others, knowing that He is always at work.

As we move forward, we should expect that God may use any moment, no matter how ordinary, to reveal His plan, and we must be ready to share His message of salvation with openness and humility. Through these divine appointments, we participate in His ongoing work to transform lives and advance His kingdom.

Looking ahead, in Part II of the series, we'll dive deeper into how to discern if someone has been sent by God for a purpose. Stay tuned!
