Today I'd like to share some advice about shifting your mental state. There's challenging times at the moment with grief going on around the world, on top of an already challenging time with COVID pandemic. When people are mentally down, it is very difficult to will your way out of it, to challenge the mind with the mind. However it is a lot easier to shift the mind with the body. And what I mean by that is, as hard as it may be, if you try to get up and go for a short run or go to a yoga class or even stretching. These movements, promoting blood flow around the body towards the brain. Will really help you begin to shift your mindset. That's why people often feel better after a great session at the gym or a yoga class. And if you want to try something different, some low cost ways are cold showers, ice baths and different types of breath work practices.
Explore have a play and keep some tools for yourself. So when you're feeling down, you can use those tools to shift your physiology and the mind will follow.
