Often we are recommended to have a gratitude practice to help us shift our mindsets to a more positive state by thinking of the things that we're grateful and thankful for. But even with a gratitude practice sometimes people can still take things for granted and that's where mental subtraction comes in.
Mental subtraction is a visual exercise that takes away someone or something important in your life to help you appreciate more, those relationships or anything else that is in your life. This process can help you improve your positivity and appreciation.
