Tidy Tidbits: The Maycember Spiral
This week, I’m recording from my “office” (aka the bathroom), reflecting on the chaos of Maycember—that special spring season when school, work, and life all decide to peak at once. If you’re standing on the edge of Maycember like it’s an 18-foot boat and life is the ocean—this one’s for you.
Whether you’re deep in field trip forms or planning all the work off-site team builders, this episode shares real-life strategies to help you stop doing all the work yourself.
💡 In this episode:– Who (or what) can help you share the load– Why outsourcing is strategy, not surrender– Eliminate what you don’t need: dry-clean-only polos taught me about saying no– How my fridge and under-eye masks are in a co-dependent relationship

* Protein Iced Coffee - Two scoops, cold water, shake - yes, please!!! (This would also make a great Mother’s Day or Teacher Appreciation Week gift!) We have the original flavor in the large bag and smaller variety packets to try different flavors.
* Under-Eye Masks - I put these on every morning and clean while they work their magic. (I keep them in the refrigerator so they’re super cold and refreshing!)
* My Favorite Power Foaming Toilet Cleaner - This pink stuff is truly incredible.
🍎 A Quick Note on Teacher Appreciation Week
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5-9), and if you’ve got school-age kids, I’ve got a simple gift idea that the teachers will truly appreciate.
Here’s a free download that’s a version of outsourcing work! It’s a Teacher Top 10 List.Have your child’s teacher fill it out—favorite candy, go-to snack, drink order—and then pick a few to surprise their teacher with throughout the week.
Here’s another fun idea: have your kid bring a bagel + coffee order card to school. The teacher fills it out with their order, your kid delivers it the next day. It’s nice for the teacher to know they’ll have an easy morning, and it’s thoughtful and delicious!
