Today we have the fun of hearing from Jonathan McKenzie, a friend of the program. Jonathan is the Youth Director at a Christ Church Presbyterian in Augusta, GA. Growing up in evangelical world, Jonathan flirted briefly with Anglicanism before deciding to stay Presbyterian. I’ve had the joy of getting to know him over the last few years and thought it would be a great conversation to start off our interviews.
We had a great talk about the world of evangelicalism; the connection between Baptists, Presbyterians, and Anglicans; the draw that Gen-Z Christians feel toward Eastern Orthodoxy, Roman Catholicism, and Charismatic traditions; and the things he misses most about Anglicanism.
