Last episode we talked about how the Holy Spirit works within us to bring about the change that we normally think will come through things outside of us.
But this begs a question: what’s the point of external institutions like church? If they didn’t work for Israel, why use them now? Should we just be alone, outside of church and organized religion?
A lot of people today have happily answered in the affirmative to that question.
But on today’s episode we give at least a small attempt explaining what purpose the “externals” have and why, in the end, your mom was right:
You should go to church.
