On today’s episode of the Evangelical Anglican, we look again at JC Ryle’s essay “The Evangelical Religion,” but this time we’re talking about four different ways that Ryle tells us we can mute or subdue the Gospel in our approach to religion. These are not necessarily to say that the Gospel is missing or absent, but the volume knob has been turned down some, and sometimes turned down quite a bit.
