Originally from Marie-Galante, Maire Bavarday-Rosa is one of those inspiring women who embody resilience and ambition.
🎓 After earning her high school diploma at just 17, she continued her studies in Canada before settling in Atlanta, the city where ambition meets opportunity.
Starting her career in social work and crime prevention, Maire quickly discovered the city’s strong entrepreneurial spirit — and decided to follow that path herself.
In 2014, she founded Relay Shop USA, a parcel forwarding service making international shipping easier for customers.
The beginnings were challenging, but determination, faith, and resilience turned those challenges into victories.
Today, Relay Shop stands as a growing and successful business.
In 2017, Maire launched Ecomspaces, a forward-thinking coworking and storage space that provides:
· Shipping solutions for e-commerce entrepreneurs
· Photo studios and podcast rooms
· Business coaching for those ready to scale up
Her remarkable journey was recognized in November 2023, when she won 2nd place at the Black Ambition Prize, a business grant founded by Pharrell Williams, honoring the most promising Black entrepreneurs.
