I have just published the result of my doctoral work in this book, TRANSitions-Queering Faith Leadership.
This book primarily looks at the gifts gender-diverse people bring to ministry. Instead of being defensive about who we are, this book asks questions like: what unique experiences have we had that particularly equip us to offer spiritual care? As a people who have distinctly experienced transformation, what voice can we offer to interpreting and proclaiming scripture? How do we bring ourselves to justice work and have a social media presence?
While the book focuses on equipping transgender people in ministry, at it’s core it is about exploring the gifts any of us bring into the world. The lessons of this book are not limited to gender-diversity and ministry, but authentically living out all of who you are.
