Yes, I know today is a commercialized, sentimentalized holiday probably designed more for capitalism than anything else.
However, it provides a moment to hear the message of love.
The world constantly tells us we are not good enough or we are too much.
We are conditioned to compare ourselves to unrealistic standards.
And over the last month, whether you are a Person of Color, disabled, from another country, or transgender you have even heard words of condemnation from the president of the United States.
But let me say today, you are loved.
You are good.
You are beautiful.
You are strong.
You are worthy.
Not because of what you do or don’t do, but simply because of who you are.
I love you.
God loves you.
I hope you love you.
Happy Valentines Day!
