Description

“For there is nothing, from the lowest, weakest tone of suffering to the loftiest acme of pain, to which God does not respond.” George MacDonald

This episode talks about bewildering disillusionment that can overwhelm the soul and hinder us from following Jesus as closely.

Highlights: Matthew 26:58, “Meanwhile, Peter followed him at a distance and came to the high priest’s courtyard. He went in and sat with the guards and waited to see how it would all end.”

Peter is usually portrayed as the weakling who denied Christ. The coward who talked a good talk but abandoned his friend when everything started crumbling. But recently, I have thought about this story in a completely different light.

Peter followed at a distance . . . but he still followed.

Featured song, “Breathe Again.” Releasing Friday on all digital platforms.
