Who is Jesus?
We need to see him.
We need to understand our faith.
Poets & Preachers is now streaming on all digital platforms!
I wrote this song many years ago as a challenge to myself and to all professing believers to “seek who we say we’re believing.”
I often wonder what our Lord must think when he observes us living in spiritual poverty after he suffered and rose to make it possible for us to live in connection with our Heavenly Father.
I wonder why I do not take full advantage of everything he so graciously offers to those who are his. Why do I take his faithfulness towards me for granted?
Who is Jesus?
I need to see him.
I need to understand {my} faith.
What would happen if all who say they believe began to take the words of Jesus seriously? What if we began to lean into the realities of freedom, light, and the “new way of living” that Christ made possible? What if we lived in light so that we could be light for all who are searching for answers and peace?
Impossible, you say?
“With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” ~Jesus (Matthew 19:26)
Hope this song resonates and encourages you wherever you are on this journey of faith(fulness).
Remember, sharing is caring!
