In this episode, we speak with Dr Kerri-Ann Hughes, Senior Lecturer from Massey's School of Nursing. Dr Hughes is part of an international research team looking at nurses' experience of Menopause.

In this insightful conversation we speak with Kerri-Ann about her international research and the desired outcomes to support nurses, why Menopause is not a mental health issue and we discuss the important theme behind this years World Menopause Day.

World Menopause Day is Tuesday October 18th. The theme for World Menopause Day is Mood and Cognition and bringing to light how Menopause can impact our mood and cognition. We also see it as an opportunity to bring to light some of the lifestyle strategies we can all be doing to support our mood and cognition, leading into and during Menopause.

To celebrate World Menopause Day, we are hosting a FREE webinar Menopause in the Workplace: Starting the Conversation. This webinar aims to address why we need to address Menopause at work and will explore ways to build confidence around having the conversation about it. We'd love you to join us and book in to attend this webinar. BOOK IN HERE We are hosting this webinar October 18th 12pm (Australian EDST).
