Belissa Escobedo was born and raised in Los Angeles. She got her start in the ABC Diversity Showcase in 2018 and went on to book her first role as a series regular on ABC’s The Baker and The Beauty. Since then, she has starred in a number of major studio films, including Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2 and DC’s Blue Beetle. She is starring alongside Reba McEntire in NBC’s new sitcom, Happy’s Place.
