Hello my love,
This week on the Magic Divorce Club podcast I’m talking about something so many of us resist but desperately need … slowing right down in the middle of your divorce.
I’m exploring the idea of “wintering” through your divorce – that season where you’re exhausted, overstimulated, and instead of pushing harder, you’re invited to retreat, nest, and finally let your poor heart, spirit and soul rest.
In this episode I share:
* Why divorce can feel like autumn turning into winter – shedding, letting go, and then the grief.
* How winter isn’t failure, but incubation for the next version of you
* What happened when I tried to out-run my feelings with productivity (including the Sam Fender gig that knocked me sideways…)
* The dance between maiden energy (tender, sensitive) and queen energy (protective, wise)
* Signs your body is begging you to winter.
* Simple, doable practices to honour this wintering season.
This one is for you if you’re thinking “I should be coping better”, still trying to be the strong, organised mum, or tempted to just race through the divorce to get to the other side.
Pop your headphones in on a walk, or sit quietly with a candle and let this episode feel like I’m gently saying:
“You’ve done enough. It’s okay to rest.”
Because I am.
Remember, babe, there will be a spring and summer on the other side of this. But first, we winter.
You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.Hannah XOX
