The author Alison Carpenter Davis recently shared a very personal essay about having diarrhea while out in public.
She addresses bathroom urgency, a condition millions of people experience, some for a limited time and others to varying degrees for the rest of their lives.
This essay really affected me because I have found the exact same thing to be true about living with IBS. My own story about that is here.
