Description

For this first episode of Season 2 of Our Evening Tea, we are beginning a new era here on the A Beautiful Grind Substack! There will be many changes, some of which you might notice if you have been tuning in to our podcast (or text articles) for some time. For Season 2, we are intending to post a podcast every week, rather than every other week as we began doing in Season 1. Also, podcast topics will not be directly correlating with text article topics, and though I will still be posting text articles, they will be about topics fully independent from podcast topics. As far as text article topics, I am still brainstorming exactly what to be writing about for the next 16 weeks as we run Season 2 of our podcast, but for podcast topics, we have set an intention to keep them a bit more personal and vague, seeing wherever they might lead us in conversation, rather than choosing direct social commentary issues to discuss as we did during Season 1. I have already begun thinking about Season 3, and for that we might return to the social commentary issues, maybe just revisiting the same issues from Season 1 but this time with guests (considering we have had many potential guests reach out about joining in discussion of our already-posted topics). As for the future, we can only plan and try to execute on our plans, but nobody truly knows how things will turn out. All we can know is what we already have, which is this here Episode 1 of Season 2, for your viewing pleasure! That’s right! We are including video this season! So sit back, enjoy the talk, join us in the comments if you feel so inspired, make sure to hit the like button if you’re enjoying yourself, and let’s talk deeply over tea.

All articles and podcast episodes are available here, and are emailed as soon as they are posted, to all subscribers: All A Beautiful Grind posts and Our Evening Tea episodes
