We have all been set up from a young age to idolize certain people, from entertainers to politicians to religious figures and beyond. This culture of idolization is deeply engrained in modern human society; everywhere we look, we are being directed to worship people rather than to simply appreciate their efforts. Join us as we discuss why this is and how this effects us, and join the conversation on Substack (through comments and the subscribers-only chat space) to figure out what we can do to alleviate some of the relentless pressure this puts on everyone to be something other than ourselves.
