This post regards the following:

Hope is complicated, coming and going seemingly at random, sustaining us through hard times, maybe dragging us through even harder times when we simply want to quit- yet throughout the ages, a similar hope for a better future has remained. Without this hope, would we, as an entire human species, have perished? To this question, we have no answer- only more questions:

Where does this hope come from? Why does hope exist, where does it go when it is away, why does it leave, why does it return- and, most importantly, why does it still exist despite having remained unrealized since the dawn of humanity? What sustains this great sustainer of our inspiration?
