Listen

Description

In this Christmas message, I share something that has been stirring in me throughout Advent: the truth that God still speaks — even when life feels painfully silent.

I talk about a moment from years ago, a marriage proposal wrapped in silence, and how easily we can misinterpret quiet as absence. Waiting can feel heavy, confusing, even exhausting. But the more I sit with Scripture, the more I see that silence is never the whole story. God is a communicating God — always has been, always will be.

In this episode, I reflect on the ache of waiting, the noise of modern life, and the fragmentation so many of us feel. And I look at Jesus — the One who is God’s final, full, and complete Word to us. The One who holds all things together when we feel like we’re falling apart. The One who brings clarity, peace, and presence into the places that feel dimly lit.

This is an invitation to tune your heart again, to listen beneath the noise, and to remember that you don’t have to earn His voice. He is already speaking.

I talk about:✨ Why God’s voice isn’t always loud, but it’s always present✨ Jesus as the complete revelation of God✨ Naming our feelings to calm the nervous system and make space for clarity✨ Receiving God’s voice as a gift, not something to strive for✨ Finding peace, connection, and holy attentiveness this Christmas

As you step into the final days of this year, my prayer is that you’d experience a deeper peace — the kind that isn’t dependent on circumstances or noise or certainty, but the kind that comes from knowing

God is speaking,

God is near, and

God is holding all things together.

If life feels fragmented, if waiting feels heavy, or if silence feels confusing, may this Christmas remind you that Jesus is God’s Word made flesh — the clearest revelation of God’s heart, God’s character, and God’s love. You are not navigating the dark alone. You’re being led, held, and spoken to — even here.

Take a moment this week to pause, breathe, and let your heart become attentive again. His voice is closer than you think.

✨ Join Me for 31 Days of Beginning Again

If your heart is longing for a fresh start, for clarity, for renewal — or simply for companionship in the Word — I would love for you to join me (and others!) for 31 Days of Beginning Again, starting 1st January 2026.

It’s a guided, daily Bible reading plan and journal through Scripture with each day designed to help you:

Grow: feast on Scripture and encounter God’s Word in a way that speaks directly to your life.

Glorify: notice God’s character, His faithfulness, and what He is revealing to you.

Grapple: journal honestly about your thoughts, struggles, and discoveries.

Gather: reflect in prayer, collating your thoughts to connect with God in conversation and surrender.

Go: take one intentional step toward living out what God is teaching you, whether in attitude, action, or relationship.

There’s a private group where we’ll walk through it together, share what God is saying, and build rhythms of listening and beginning again — not alone, but in community.

If you’re ready for a reset, a re-centering, or simply a place to breathe again with God, please join us. It would be a joy to start the year with you.
