Welcome to Walking Dread, the podcast that chills you to the bone!

Get ready for a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Imagine a dilapidated psychiatric facility, where the flickering lights and peeling paint are the least of the worries. Patients disappear, their screams echoing through empty halls. Sarah, a patient struggling to hold onto her sanity, realizes that something sinister is hunting them. It’s the old orderly, a man with a crooked grin and eyes that promise pain, not healing. Sarah sees him relishing the fear of the other patients, feeding off their terror.

When another patient vanishes, Sarah knows she can't just cower in fear. She follows the orderly, her heart pounding in her chest, and discovers a horrifying scene in the basement. Surgical tools and rusty restraints paint a picture of unimaginable torment. The missing patient is strapped to a table, eyes wide with terror, while the orderly hums happily as he prepares to inflict pain.

But Sarah is done being a victim. A surge of desperate rage consumes her, and she grabs a discarded scalpel, ready to fight for survival. The ensuing struggle is brutal, the air thick with the screams of both the orderly and his victim. Sarah manages to free the patient and they escape through forgotten tunnels, their clothes stained with blood and grime.

The abandoned asylum becomes a breeding ground for ghost stories, but the true horror lies not within those crumbling walls but inside Sarah. She may have survived, but the memory of the blood on her hands and the echo of the orderly's dying screams haunt her. In a desperate fight for survival, Sarah had to become a monster herself, and that realization is a specter far more terrifying than any ghost.
