For episode 4 Rudo and Keith find themselves in various morning states...Keith had already achieved so much and Rudo had barely had her coffee!

Question 2: "Can you tell me about a memorable adventure or trip you've taken and how it was transformative or special?"

The chat's topics covered a range of things:

Doing things with open ended plans, so safe and so scary! This podcast stretches and challenges.

When was the last time you sat with discomfort and wondered what you were capable of?

Deeper question: "Can you tell me about a recent time where you asked for help and you were really glad you did?"

We really don't like being a burden... R- this morning in fact, juggling a big drive and the anxieties that went with it...asked my girlfriends to hear out my anxiety so I could just let it out let it go.

K- 2024 was about recognising this is an aspect that needed work. Recounting how this plays out in men's group-work, looking forward to the time when he needs help and can pick up the phone. Keith is working on a play, inspired by Stephanie Harrison's book 'New Happy'. Which is also something he's comfortable asking for help with from his community.

Taking a moment to thank our communities. Reflecting the moment of catharsis of being exactly who we are and being accepted within community.

Speaking of the value our relationships gift us with...Rudo reflects how the past few years have been about not internalising natural endings of those communities. Beginnings and endings and finding peace with that.

Healthy boundaries as we play in communities too, Keith mentions a necessary aspect of his self-care...what's right for him about how he communicates on his time and focus.

Deep question: "Can you tell me about a memorable adventure or trip you've taken and how it was transformative or special?"

K- In 2023 Keith went to a course in Auckland called "The Switch", a 4 day course for folks dealing with chronic health issues. He watched the transformative power of the course on himself and others a full year on.

R- A family trip to Samoa, the generous spirit and sweetness of the place and its people.
