Show notes: Leadership, Diversity, and Legacy

What does it take to turn a commitment to diversity into real change inside an organization?

In this episode, Garrett Glawe shares how intentional hiring, global leadership, and parenting fuel his passion for building inclusive teams in finance.

Garrett is the Head of Asset Owner ETF Specialists at Invesco, where he leads a team dedicated to promoting Invesco’s ETF capabilities to U.S. asset owners and investment consultants. Prior to joining Invesco in 2023, Garrett spent eight years at S&P Dow Jones Indices. He is a CFA charterholder, holds an MBA from DePaul University, and earned both a BS in Finance and an MS from Miami University. Passionate about advancing inclusion in the financial industry, Garrett serves as Co-Head of the Chicago chapter of Women in ETFs and previously held leadership roles on the board of CFA Society Chicago. Outside of work, Garrett is a devoted single father to two daughters, ages 7 and 10. He enjoys running, biking, hiking, boating, skiing, and the occasional round of what he calls “mediocre golf.” With his family, he recently helped raise funds to build a school in Guatemala, reflecting his commitment to giving back and creating opportunities for others.

Kristine Delano guides the conversation on how professional leadership, personal values, and family experiences shape the way we build a better future.
