In this episode, I reflect on two simple writing prompts — Valentine’s Day and early spring — and the memories it stirred.
I share stories from my years teaching kindergarten: glitter and glue, heart-shaped piñatas (architecturally sound, emotionally symbolic, completely impenetrable!), and the Queen of Hearts dancing her way toward love and forgiveness.
But beneath the crafts and crowns was something deeper.
Ritual.Circle.Connection.The warmth that begins underground before spring arrives.
I found myself wondering:
Why do we think whimsy belongs only to children?
What if play is a doorway?
What if ritual is medicine?
Can wonder be for grown-ups?
This episode is a reflection on longing, creativity, and the quiet season of dreaming something new into being.
At the end, I share a simple humming and pentatonic lyre recording — a gentle practice I used in my classroom to bring calm and warmth.

A Seed Dreams Beneath the Frozen Earth
The earth does not rush the seed. She holds it in the dark.Warms it.Waits.
I am learning to rest and trust.

P.S. I’ll soon be releasing my oracle cards, guidebook, and journal — another offering rooted in ritual, reflection, and wonder. If that speaks to you, I’ll share details in the coming days.
