Good morning and happy Tuesday y’all. This voice note is coming to you fresh—recorded just this morning at 4 AM while the veil was still thin and the house was still quiet. There’s something about those hours before the sun rises that makes clarity hit different. You know?
I’ve been traveling, resting, dreaming—and somewhere in the stillness, a new download dropped right into my lap yesterday. What started as a dream has now become a full section in my Projected On mini-series for paid subscribers. It’s about pure love. About the kind that doesn’t grip, doesn’t possess, doesn’t distort. The kind that sets you free.
But let’s back up.
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to be projected on—especially as a Projector in Human Design, and a Black woman in the world. Whew. The layers. The misunderstandings. The unsolicited opinions. The people mistaking your rest for laziness or your alignment for arrogance.
What I’ve noticed (and what one of my besties noticed too, also a Projector) is that we tend to attract projection. Folks don’t see us clearly—they see their own insecurities, limitations, or envy reflected back at them. And if you’re not aware of what’s yours and what’s theirs, it can be so easy to internalize it all. To shrink. To question your path. To think maybe I am doing something wrong.
But no. That’s not yours to hold.
So this week’s audio episode is an invitation to trust your divine timing, to protect your rhythm, and to get honest about how projection shows up in your own life—especially in love. Because sometimes what we call “love” is really just possession. And possession is one of the most dangerous forms of projection.
This one’s intimate. This one’s layered. And if you’re feeling seen already, you need to hear the rest.
The next chapter of Projected On drops later today exclusively for paid subscribers—and I’m not gonna lie, it’s one of my favorite things I’ve ever written. I might even add it to the shop as a one-time offering because it’s that potent.
But until then, listen to this morning’s voice note. Let it be your soft reminder that you’re not lazy, you’re in rhythm. You’re not invisible, you’re just being projected on by those who can’t see themselves clearly. And most importantly—you are allowed to rest. To realign. To reimagine what love and life look like for you.
Let’s keep honoring what’s ours—and releasing what’s not.
xoxo,
Goddess Thea
