You will love hearing from OUr Former Hockey Player-Nate Monticelli! Nate is A Sophomore studying business Finance seeking a real estate certificate and is also on the Pre Law track. Born in Vancouver Washington, but raised in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, he Played competitive hockey for the majority of his life as well as a ton of other sports. You may recognize his last name from his sister, Paytn, who won a national championship with OU Softball in 2024 and finished her career with the LSU Tigers.
Nate began cheering for the Sooners when his sister was offered to play softball here. He had never really even thought about coming here for school or hockey. Tune in to hear his story about how he ended up in Oklahoma!
His Fave sooner memory is Scoring his first two goals in the same game his freshman year playing hockey. (The Game was agains OSU in Tulsa for our annual bedlam game)
