You will love this week’s guest, Sydney Thompson of OU Volleyball! Sydney is a Sports Business major at the University of Oklahoma with a minor in Spanish and plans to pursue her MBA. She’s interned with ESPN and Nike, loves creating content, and enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends.
Sydney didn’t grow up a Sooner fan- her parents went to TU and my brother played basketball at Oklahoma State, so their house was low-key split. But once she started going through the recruiting process and visited OU-the culture, the people, and the support really won her over. It felt like home, and that’s when she became a Sooner.
Her Fave sooner memory is Beating Texas her junior year, and living in Headington her freshman year.
