Description

For this episode I interview local musical wonder Scott Merritt.

Scott is a musician/songwriter/producer/creator living here in Guelph. We talk about the news, and where we find our trusted sources: Scott still subscribes to a paper newspaper: he reads the New York Times and recreates a "Sunday morning" where time slows down because the stores are closed. We talk about music: where does a musician find motivation to create when you don't feel driven to perform, or don't know when you'll be able to again? And we talk about John Prine.

Scott works from home, so in some ways his COVID days aren't too different, maybe a few additional intentional trips upstairs to keep his wife Sue company. But he's watching the world, and contemplating the days to come, working on music (that hopefully we'll get to hear someday :) )
