Description

For this Valentine’s Day edition of Pulp Friction, working girl Rocky (she/her) and GBF Simone (she/they) take a waltz through the history of rom-coms. From Menander to Noah Centineo, it’s the genre we love to deride as trash and then reclaim as brilliant. “What happened to rom-coms?” “Why are rom-com men so boring?” “Is Nancy Meyers a genius?” These are just some of the questions we probably won’t answer, but we’ll have a lot of fun not doing it. Persons of interest include Pete Davidson, Pete Davidson, and Pete Davidson.

You can find Rocky and Simone on their respective Twitters. Pulp Frictionis available wherever you get your podcasts. Subscribe and share to support the show, reach out to Rocky or pulpfrictioncast@gmail.com with business inquiries.
