As we near the end of 2018, 7 months into the Value through Vulnerability podcast and after 36 full podcast  & 10 x 15 mins selfcare podcasts, I was keen for myself but also for our listeners to reflect on what I see as the key themes coming out from these podcasts that provide opportunities for personal, organisational & societal growth in 2019.

For those that may be time poor or hard of hearing, here are the key summary items discussed:

Slow down, strop & get present more often

The human experience operates inside out – not outside in based on circumstance

No-one comes to work wanting to be a dick / tyrant

Be more you – lean in, go first – role model humanity

Actively listen & seek feedback

We need to be taking a long-term view on those in our care at work

Wellbeing has to be a priority in 2019

Trust of ourselves and those we interact with

Structure creates freedom

Sustainability

Actively expand your network with people that do not look & think you, outside of your main skill-set and sector
