Grant Darnell is in his third year as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Wayne State College, a D2 school in Nebraska. Darnell is the first strength coach in school history and oversees the athletic development of all student athletes at WSC. Prior to WSC, Darnell was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Kent State University where he oversaw the men's and women's track and field programs while assisting with football and all Olympic sports in both weight rooms at KSU. Darnell was a graduate assistant at University of Louisiana Monroe where he was the head strength coach for the baseball, volleyball and beach volleyball programs while assisting with football and writing the training programs for quarterbacks and specialists. Prior to ULM, Darnell spent 8 months at Murray State University as a volunteer assistant where he assisted with all programs. Darnell is originally from Mount Sterling, Kentucky and played collegiate football at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky.
