Description

Today I’m excited to introduce you to Georgena Senior, a Philadelphia-based artist whose work literally stopped me in my tracks. When I saw her recent ceramic pieces paired with a notebook page of sketches, I was so moved that I immediately reached out—and I’m thrilled she agreed to join us today.

Georgena beautifully embodies the multifaceted creative life. She’s an artist working in handbuilt ceramics, exploring themes of archetypes and goddess culture. She’s an educator teaching at both Temple and Drexel Universities. And she’s a designer who’s created branding for some of the world’s most recognizable properties.

What I love most is how she refuses to compartmentalize these different creative roles. As she puts it, “In my life, art and design go hand in hand. Displaying all of it side by side shows that balance and gives the whole picture of who I am.”
