This episode features John George, owner of George’s Song Shop in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. George’s is billed as “America’s Oldest Record Store,” having been founded by John’s father in 1932. John took over the store in 1962, and has kept it going ever since.
He says they’re selling more records now, in 2026, than ever before.
