Hey Squad!

I hope you are keeping well and that the month of March has been kind to you all!

I want to start sharing a few of my favourite things with you guys on this platform. And to kick us off I’m going to start with my favourite thing for this week, which hands down has to be the Bosh Drip shoot that we did for our new swimwear collection. I really loved styling all the pieces on the models and also seeing the entire creative process come to life. I can’t wait for you guys to see the pictures and the reels that we did over on our Instagram page!

WHERE I’VE BEEN

For this segment I’ll be sharing with you cool places that I have been, which can be trips, restaurants, events or other locations.

My favourite place for this week is Samaki Samaki, a Seafood and Jazz restaurant located in Lavington. You can check out my full review on YouTube. I’ll definitely be going back there for their fish tacos and also for the oysters!

WHAT I’M OBSESSED WITH

Speaking of food, lately I’ve been obsessively watching seafood mukbang videos. For those of you who don’t know what that is, I’ve linked a video down below so you can check it out.

If you don’t watch food videos as you eat, you are a psychopath.. period 😂

WHAT I’M WATCHING

I’m currently watching Young, Famous, and African - a Netflix reality series about African celebrities (Africa to the world!💃🏾)

My favourite person on the show is Zari. I think all the other people on the show may just feel intimidated by her.

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO

I’ve been loving Ben Cyco and Wanjiru Njiru’s Joy Ride Podcast.

I’ve always been a fan of Wanjiru Njiru and Ben Cyco separately, and now that they are creating content together, it’s a major plus! I really love how open they are in their podcast. Click here if you’d like to check them out wherever you usually watch or listen to podcasts.

HOW I’M PRACTICING SELF-CARE

I’m taking a little extra time on Sundays to do my reset routine, including doing a deep, at home spa session for my skin.

When it comes to fitness, I have honestly been very inconsistent with that, but I have been taking the time to at least do my stretches. I have convinced myself that the five minute stretches are better than nothing 🙈

Food-wise, I’m the kind of person who will work and forget to eat a meal in between. I’m trying to be more consistent with my meals - and also with drinking enough water!

FINANCIAL WELLNESS

Saving is something I have been raised to do from a young age. And I recently did a YouTube video about my personal relationship with saving - and my tips for how to budget and save in your 20s. You can check it out here:

WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO

And finally, what I’m looking forward to, which is the second edition of our Game Night 🎉🎉🎉

It’s going to be coming pretty soon! We’ll have more exciting prizes and I can’t wait to come up with the questions!
