It is Wednesday, August 27th, my God. So, just a really quick post. I wasn't sure if we could pull it together, but we are pulling it together. It's going to be fun. We're going to do a class tomorrow night. It's about collaborating with artists, and it's with the one and only brother Greg Capullo. It'll be live at 9.30pm EST on Thursday night, and again, if you can't make it, if you're busy, we'll post it in our archives afterwards so if you're a paid subscriber (it's only $7/month or $75/year, by the way) you can watch it at any time. So it was long overdue. He just did an amazing variant cover for us for DC K.O., his first DC cover in a while, and I'm so so excited to get to talk to him. I mean we talk all the time but it’ll be a ton of fun to get to talk to him in front of you guys about what makes a good collaboration between a writer and an artist in comics. So please check it out! I'll be posting about it, but I want to show them a great time.
And also, Final Order Cut-Off for K.O. #1 is a week earlier than I thought. It's totally my bad. I thought it was the 15th of September, but because of the blind bag program that DC is doing and because of the acetate covers, which are awesome, it's actually September 8th. So it's a week from Monday.
So I'll be in full court press mode next week going around doing interviews and all kinds of stuff trying to tell you about all the fun we're going to have at this crazy event. So I really hope you'll check it out. Please, please order now if you're going to order it from your store. There's a lot of big surprises in that first issue. I would not be surprised if it sells out because of some twists and turns. Again, let's have some fun. Rock out. Do a knockdown, drag out, out of control event this fall. And the event also is going to engender some awesome stuff at DC. Some really cool new books, some really cool story within the main line, all kinds of really good stuff. So it's meant to be a thank you to you guys and a kind of energy drink for DC Comics going into spring when it ends. So I can't wait for you guys to check it out. All right, so class tomorrow.
