Well, it’s Independence Day, and we’re headed to my brother’s cottage on the lake. We’d take our vacation at this Michigan paradise every summer when I was a kid. It’s about an hour and a half from our old house in Detroit. We spent so much time in that lake, we ran the risk of growing gills.
