Part Two starts in the early 2020s, at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the tragic murder of George Floyd, pivotal moments that stirred our community to unite and sparked an influx of volunteers eager to make a difference. As we adapted swiftly to the new normal, implementing virtual events and launching an ambassador program, we were also met with unique challenges. I'll delve into the nuances of volunteer burnout, the difficulties of maintaining long-term engagement, and the delicate dance of keeping the organization afloat amidst dwindling participation.
