Episode 12 - FIGHT! FIGHT! SMALL MEN, FIGHT!

Well, the world is worlding and we needed a break. No catfights today! We dipped back into our current comfort show, Bravo’s Love Hotel, with Season 1, Episode 2 – “Three’s a Crowd”.

Shannon is growing on Carla. Gizelle is a STAR! And Carla and Robyn laughed SO hard at the ladies and the “small men” fighting.

Plus, Carla legit exclaimed “I LOVE this show!” Now her husband, Craig, is worried she “got sucked in.” Haha! Robyn’s plan is working!

They also chat about Carla’s lucky raffle win, Robyn’s latest Twin Peaks events, AND Carla discovers that she sold the very bucket hat from this episode at her vintage shop Jacaranda Eve. What?!

Listen & play along to find out what Robyn will assign Carla (and YOU!) next.

NO QUIZ THIS WEEK! There’s no homework at the Love Hotel.

Fun stuff we discussed:

Carla & Robyn were both inspired by the kindness they saw at the No Kings Protests this weekend.

Carla won a ‘Harold & Maude’ script at a WGA Raffle!

AND Carla discovered that she had sold this very Bucket Hat -- he hat that graced the heads of LuAnn, Shannon, Gizelle & Ashley – at her vintage shop, Jacaranda Eve.

WHAT?! Another cosmic connection of Carla and Bravo

Robyn went to see our friend @theepiclloyd in the first stop of their world tour for Epic Rap Battles Of History. It was at the iconic Roxy Theater. And the show was INCREDIBLE!

Robyn saw David Lynch’s ‘Blue Velvet’ at Cinespia.

It was, OF COURSE, Amazing. And they had items from David Lynch’s estate sale via Julien's Auctions. Robyn couldn’t afford anything, yet was SO grateful for this picture by his director’s chair.

And here is Robyn at the official Cinespia Blue Velvet photobooth. The setup is Incredible. People REALLY dressed up. Robyn was in line early, so jeans and t-shirt had to do. Still love this pic!

And here is Robyn actually dressing up for her friend Courtenay’s David Lynch themed birthday party.

Yes, this is absurd. Yes, this is at an iconic filming location from Twin Peaks Season 1. For all you Peaks Geeks out there this is where the Timber Falls motel was located.

One last thing. If you love Twin Peaks, you MUST check out Courtenay Stallings fantastic book Laura's Ghost: Women Speak about Twin Peaks

Okay, back to Bravo! Look, sometimes we take detours. We’re just going with the flow here at the Bubble.

Thanks for listening and playing along! And HUGE thanks to those of you who have left us Reviews on Apple Podcasts & Spotify. It really helps! Thank you!
