In this Christmas Eve (2023) message on Matthew 1:17–23, Kenny shows why the birth of Jesus is deeply relevant to every person today. Drawing from the genealogy, the virgin birth, and the angel’s words to Joseph, he explains how the incarnation fulfills God’s ancient covenants with Abraham and David, completes the first gospel promise in Eden, and unites Christ to his people as the Savior who takes away sin. Kenny emphasizes that Jesus is Emmanuel—God with us—who became poor so we might become rich, and invites listeners to see the incarnation not as distant history, but as the personal promise that changes everything.
