Dear Friends,
Thanks for joining us on Entering Stage Right and on this “Day of Remembrance”—observing the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America twenty years later.
All of us who witnessed that horrific day recall vividly where we were and whom we were with. May we take time this day to recall and honor the nearly 3,000 people who perished in that national tragedy.
Let’s also take time to honor the nearly 2,500 men and women of our armed forces who served valiantly in Afghanistan, sacrificing their lives for others, along with thousands of U.S. contractors who perished there as well. History will show they did not die in vain.
And let us not forget the 66,000 Afghan national military and police who were our allies and paid the ultimate price.
We live a great country. We will never forget. We will always remember. We will remain vigilant.
Peace,
Philip Charles MacKenzie & D. Paul Thomas
