Today’s podcast has been a long time coming. Reading through Ibram X. Kendi’s best-selling book, How to Be an Antiracist, is a challenging assignment. We’ve tried to do the hard work for you.
We look at several definitions, mandates, and judgements that Mr. Kendi proposes and find them lacking at best. At worst, his conclusions are false, dangerous, and lack that touch of mercy all of humanity needs.
This is a two-parter, so listening this week will set the stage for what the new messiah of antiracism is really espousing—an endgame “requiring radical reorientation of our consciousness”—and “where the flag of antiracism will fly over a world of equity.”
