Listen

Description

In this short clip from a recent satsang talk, I discuss three signatures of awakening in Vedanta: shravana (listening), manana (reflection, and nididhyāsana (assimilation and abiding). It’s good to know these pointers, even if they may or may not arise in an individual’s direct experience of liberation from suffering.

Thank you for watching or listening. May you find relief in these timeless teachings of nonduality.

Note: These teachings are from the Brihadaranya (great wilderness) Upanishad (sitting with a teacher). Special thanks to fellow Advaita teacher Rajiv Kapur for his article "3 Pillars of Vedantic Practice: Shravana, Manana, Nididhyasana" which inspired me to share this with my own sangha.
