Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12 NIV).
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37
"Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." - James 4:7
There are four things we need to do when we are facing spiritual warfare in our lives:
1. Acknowledge the adversary.
2. Accept and Walk in your God-given authority.
3. Put on God’s armor.
4. Use your weapons to renew your mind
- Reflect: Psalm 139:23-24 (NLT) - "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life."
- Repent: Acts 3:19 (NLT) - "Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away."
- Renew: Romans 12:2 (NLT) - "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
