Matthew 7:24-25 (NLT): "Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock."
James 1:22 (NLT) says: "But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves."
We are 10 weeks away to the end of the year.
Here's 10 short term goal suggestions
* Invite a Friend to Church: Reach out to a friend or family member and invite them to join you for a church service or event at your local church.
* Read Three Bible Books: Select three books from the Bible that you haven't read or studied before, and commit to reading and reflecting on them over the next ten weeks.
* Listen to Ten Sermons: Find ten sermons or teachings from your church or trusted sources and listen to them attentively, taking notes and applying the lessons to your life.
* Lose 5 Pounds: Set a realistic fitness goal to shed 5 pounds by incorporating a balanced diet and regular exercise into your routine.
* Organize Your Space: Declutter and organize your living space, starting with one area at a time, such as a closet, room, or workspace.
* Create a Weekly Schedule: Plan out your week with a structured schedule, allocating time for work, personal growth, family, and relaxation.
* Update Your Resume: Take time to review and update your resume, ensuring it reflects your current skills and experiences.
* Familiarize Yourself with Banking Tools: Learn how to navigate your bank's mobile app and online tools for efficient financial management.
* Start an Auto-Debit Savings Plan: Set up an automatic savings plan where a portion of your income is deposited into a savings account each month.
10. Set Up Auto-Debit Giving: Establish an auto-debit giving plan to support your church or a charitable organization you're passionate about.
