Description

Never one for rushing his music, Robert Deeble’s latest record The Space Between Us follows up his last full length record Beloved from 2017. A lot has happened in the world since then. In his thoughtful, lyrical way Deeble reflects on the state of the world around him and its impact on human relationships.

The Space Between Us is also a record that continues Deeble’s fascination with pulling from literary sources to construct his delicately beautiful songs.

In this conversation we discuss Deeble’s music, its various influences, his collaborators and the importance of community.

Closing track: “Orphan Song” (2025)
