Let’s be honest, conservatives don’t want free speech they want impunity from their own rhetoric.
The right-wing grift around “free speech” is where platforming fascism is framed as liberty, but criticism of Zionism, socialism, or American empire gets labeled as “hate” or “terrorist sympathizing.”
These are the same people who want to ban books and criminalize protests but get weepy when their Twitter post gets flagged.
