By spiritual reality with the living Lord Jesus, every Indwelt Christian has the provision to be at "rest" - avoiding the striving performance to achieve or overcome the SELF-LIFE, feelings in the emotions, difficulties in decision-making, and urging in one's desires. In the midst of temptations and the trials of life, indwelt believers can experience the very REST of Christ that lives and breathes in their souls (Matt. 11:29) that Jesus promised!
