Universalism, in general, regards Jesus as a utilitarian tool utilized by God the Father to facilitate His commanded objective to save all men universally. Most universalistic teaching sees Jesus as but a means to an end, a mindless mechanical robot and instrumental Savior employed to exhibit God’s love, guarantee God’s covenant, or facilitate God’s decree – they do not take into account that He was and is God.
