Good evening and a side of ranch to you! We have finally made it to Detroit! More accurately, a cozy basement in Garden City! The Chihuahuas are cold! I have absolutely no concept of United States geography. What’s new, right? Anyways, ENJOY…
El Rancho Hotel (Gallup New Mexico Western-style amazingness on Route 66)
Crushers Show dates! TOUR STARTS THIS THURSDAY 4-21 with Suzi Moon and Ravagers at The Sanctuary Detroit. WILD!
Thanks to Amado and Dougie of Norcos y Horchata and Devious Ones for the practice space/putting us up in this fine, wood-paneled basement!
Also, forgot to mention in this episode a few important foods we tried along the way…
#1 Toasted Ravioli (apparently a Saint Louis thing). It was filled with meat, fried, then served with meat sauce. I enjoyed it, actually!
#2 “Saint Louis Style Pizza,” which we had NO IDEA was a thing. NOTE: St. Louis-style pizza often includes a white processed cheese known as “Provel.” Provel is a trademark for a combination of three cheeses (provolone, Swiss, and white cheddar) used instead of (or, rarely, in addition to) the mozzarella or provolone common to other styles of pizza.
