NBC:S The Contender became in 2005 the biggest reality show of boxing ever. The final took Place in Ceasars Palace Las Vegas in front on millions of Viewers at home, and made the contestants Superstars. They were 16 struggling boxers that received the opportunity of a Life-time. They fought against each other in professional 5-round bouts in front of the legends Sylvester Stallone and "Sugar Ray" Leonard. The Winner would get 1 million dollar and change his Life forever. 


Todays guest Joey Gilbert were unique in many senses. He had never boxed a minute Before college and was the big underdog on the show. He had already graduated from Law School when he got his spot in the competition. His nickname became "The One man army" and he proved himself in Amazing fights. His Success kept on going after the show and became the NABO- and USNBC-champion. Joey is today retired as a fighter and works as a lawyer in his own Company Joey Gilbert Law.
